THE BALTIC EXCHANGE CHARITABLE SOCIETY

A charitable organisation to help Baltic members has been in existence in some form since 1885, and today the Baltic Exchange Charitable Society, a registered charity, continues to provide assistance to those in need.

With assets of over £4 million, it can respond to requests from its members with financial, health or other problems. Such help can only be provided to those who have joined the Society, and membership is open to all Baltic members, employees of Baltic member companies, and of companies engaged in the oilseeds trade.

Life membership costs only £50, and membership can also be arranged for an annual subscription of £5.

All those who qualify are urged to join the Society and support its work. We hope that members will not hesitate to contact the Society if they feel in need of help, or indeed if they know of a colleague who might be in difficulty. All communication will be treated with the strictest confidence.
